Last night, we hosted the bigly, totally awesome Unlimited preview of Donald Trump biopic The Apprentice. The controversial movie traces Trump's origins in 1980s New York, exploring the genesis of his property empire and his apprenticeship beneath the infamous, cadaverous lawyer Roy Kohn.
Marvel star Sebastian Stan plays Trump, adopting his mannerisms to subtle yet eerie effect while Succession's Jeremy Strong dials up the creepiness to play the Svengali-esque Cohn. In support is the talented Maria Bakalova who puts in a memorable performance as Trump's first wife, Ivana.
Did the movie have Unlimited members reaching for the covfefe, or did it take them by surprise? We've rounded up some of the reactions so check them out and discover why The Apprentice should be on your must-watch list. And don't forget to head over to the Cineworld Letterboxd page to check out more reviews of The Apprentice.
Very good film but absolutely 10/10 performance from Sebastian Stan!

Completely blown away, knew he was a good actor but this was unbelievably great.
A very captivating, nuanced portrayal of people who perhaps don't deserve that nuance right now at such a critical time of year.. but incredible performances from both lead actors and an "enjoyable" watch, if you can take that word with a pinch of salt! 😂

Excellent film, really enjoyed it. Strong was fantastic as the menacing Cohn.

I get that there will be artistic license but it was an interesting insight into the evolution of Trump from ‘businessman’, to future leader of the free world!!
Sebastian Stan and Jeremy Strong were incredible. Also whoever did the soundtrack wow you were spectacular. Although missing Pavarotti’s Ave Maria!

Absolutely loved that they mentioned Trump’s insane belief that the human body is a battery🤣
1st WATCH-#TheApprentice. Sebastian Stan absolutely nails Trump’s mannerisms & speaking. I really hope his awards chatter picks up as he deserves it. The film dares to go to some dark places, all artistic interpretation but you can imagine this monster doing those things. 4/5. pic.twitter.com/0LFnxx5Pnz
