Fed up with treacly and mawkish festive sentimentality? Allow David Harbour to make amends for that. The star of the new blood-soaked killer Santa movie Violent Night is here with a special reading of an altogether more perverse Christmas story.
In the movie, Harbour's disillusioned Saint Nick rediscovers his purpose while saving a young girl and her family from some deadly mercenaries. When means of said redemption occur via sledgehammer, ice skate and wood chipper, you know that this isn't Love, Actually we're talking about.
Harbour's twist on the usual Silent Night story continues in that same delightfully morbid mold. So, settle in with a glass of the mulled stuff and enjoy as Christmas convention is sliced and diced.
