Which Stephen King novel do you think the author describes as his scariest? Salem's Lot? The Shining? Misery? Think again. It is in fact Pet Sematary, the 1983 novel of grief and evil retribution from beyond the grave.
King's famously chilling story gets a brand new big screen adaptation this year starring Jason Clarke and John Lithgow. When a college professor and his family move to a rural town, the death of their beloved cat Church anticipates further tragedy. Turning to the supernatural powers seemingly at work in the nearby pet cemetery, father Louis (Clarke) invokes the force of unimaginable evil.
