2020 short movie Theater Camp now gets a critically acclaimed feature film adaptation. Broadway star Ben Platt (The Book of Mormon) co-writes and leads the cast of this uplifting musical-comedy set at the eponymous AdirondACTS theater camp in upstate New York.
The movie screened in advance for Cineworld Unlimited members and we've curated some of their reactions.
One of the best films I’ve seen this year honestly! I was laughing all the way through and the story really resonated. The core actors blew it out of the water (you can tell they’re close off camera) along with insane off the charts talent from the kids. Thought it was fantastic!

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Great characters that showed why people love to perform and entertain others.

Very smart, very funny mockumentary. Not quite up there with the best of Christopher Guest but very nicely done. Suspect a few of the Theatre gags went over my head but the last half hour was a riot of crazy Luvvie comedy

Honestly, what a hidden gem this is. Went in with low expectations, came out uplifted and having chuckled to myself more than at any film in a long time. Belter.

Theatre Camp was brilliant. A little simple and formulaic if I'm being picky, but some brilliant jokes and I thought the cast (especially the kids) were fantastic.
