It's party time in lockdown with the release of the first trailer and poster for Bill and Ted Face the Music. Excellent!
Following years of on again/off again progress, the Bill and Ted prequel finally began shooting last year. And we've got our first proper look at the loveably goofy duo – older, but decidedly none the wiser.
Following 1988's Excellent Adventure and 1991's Bogus Journey, Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (Keanu Reeves) have put their youthful years behind them. But time travel is still on the agenda, as they seek to break the time-space continuum to write the ultimate song that will save the world.
William Sadler's Death can be briefly spotted in the trailer, and the cast also includes Ready or Not's Samara Weaving and Bombshell's Brigette Lundy-Paine. The two actors play Bill and Ted's daughters – yes, times really have moved on.
Galaxy Quest helmer Dean Parisot directs, and the script is written by the original duo of Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson. Check out the trailer below.
